(MLB) Minnesota vs. Detroit, 04/06/2015 9:08 AM, Score: 0 - 4
Money Line: -175.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Detroit Tigers.

The Detroit Tigers lost ace Max Sherzer in the off-season, and they might struggle to repeat as AL Central champs this year, but an Opening Day matchup with the Twins still looks like a favorable spot for the Tigers.

David Price will toe the rubber for Detroit, and he led the major leagues in strikeouts last year. Price was sharp against the Twins last year, posting a record of 3-1 with a 2.40 ERA in four starts.

The Twins will hand the ball to Phil Hughes, who resurrected his career in Minnesota last season. He had allowed more home runs than any other pitcher in the majors during his stint with the Yankees, and he's had real troubles in previous meetings with Detroit. Miguel Cabrera hasn't been fooled by his offerings, hitting .516 with five homers and a dozen RBIs in just 31 career at bats.

Yoenis Cespedes has also had him figured out, hitting .429 lifetime.

Take DET.
