The Rockies played spoilers on Opening Day in Milwaukee, beating the Brewers in a blowout by a score of 10-0. The home team will look to return the favor tonight, and they have what appears to be a pitching mismatch in their favor.. at first glance.

Jordan Lyles will toe the slab for the visitors, and he's been pretty mediocre in four years in the majors. He's still only 24 years old, and the best is likely still to come for the right-hander. If his numbers this spring are any indication, he could be in for a breakout season. Lyles was 2-1 with a 2.01 ERA in seven appearances, striking out 14 in 22 innings of work.

The Brewers hand the ball to Matt Garza, who pitched quite well at Miller Park last season. Garza didn't impress this spring, posting a 6.91 ERA in six outings. He didn't miss many bats, surrendering 21 runs on 33 hits over 22 innings. Carlos Gonzalez is just 3-for-12 lifetime versus Garza for a pedestrian .250 average, but all three of those hits left the ballpark resulting in 5 RBIs.

I like the Rockies chances of roughing up the Brewers for the second straight day.

Take COL +1.5.
