The Cubs are currently sitting in first place in the NL Central, and they'll be looking to extend a three game winning streak as they host the second place reds at Wrigley on Tuesday.
Jake Arrieta will toe the slab for the Cubs, and he's coming off a dominant outing in his season debut. Arrieta (1-0, 0.00 ERA) allowed just three hits while striking out seven over seven innings in a win over the Cardinals at home. He was very tough on the opposition at home last season, going 6-1 with a 1.46 ERA in a dozen starts in Chicago in 2014. Two of those wins came against the Reds, as he won both his home starts versus Cincy last year.
The Reds hand the ball to Anthony DeSclafini, who didn't earn a decision in his debut. The 24 year old was rocked this spring, and didn't look particularly good last season. He allowed four runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings in a no decision against the Cubs. Wrigley isn't an easy place to pitch, and this kid could be in trouble against a Chicago lineup that hasn't had any trouble scoring runs so far.
