Money Line: -142.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the San Francisco Giants.

Colorado has gotten off to a surprisingly good start to the season, but it's only a matter of time before injuries to their starting pitchers are going to catch up with them. Tonight's start Christian Bergman has a career ERA of 5.93 in 54 starts in the majors, and he's only in the rotation because of an injury to Jorge De La Rosa.

Bergman gave up three runs on eight hits over six innings in his only start at AT&T Park, and the damage came on a pair of home runs. All three of his career wins have come in day games, as he's 0-4 with a 6.39 ERA in five starts under the lights over the last three seasons.

The Giants hand the ball to veteran Tim Hudson, who was sharp in his debut. The 39 year old tossed 6 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing five hits in a 1-0 win over the Padres. He's about as dependable as it gets, and we should be able to count on another solid outing from the old timer at home tonight.

If the Giants can't get to Bergman, they might be able to take advantage of the bullpen that was one of the worst in the majors last season.

Take SF.
