Schule's MLB BEAST of the AL EAST - **EARLY START**
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Baltimore, 04/14/2015 3:05 PM, Score: 3 - 4
Money Line: -121.00 Baltimore (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the Baltimore Orioles.

The Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles are tied for last in the AL East. The two teams meet at Camden Yards tonight to play Game 2 of a three game set. The Orioles appear to have the upper hand in starting pitching here, and I expect them to level the series at home.

C.C. Sabathia is back on the hill for the Yankees, just five days after getting rocked at home in his debut. The 34 year old surrendered five runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings in a loss to the Blue Jays. You can't say it was much of a surprise after he was roughed up in the spring, and he's coming off consecutive seasons being plagued by injuries. Even when C.C was at his best, he didn't miss a lot of bats, and still allowed his share of runs.

The Orioles will hand the ball to Miguel Gonzalez, who was a loser in his season debut. The right-hander only allowed one run on three hits over 5 2/3 innings, but walked five in a 2-0 loos at Tampa. His day night splits suggest he performs better under the lights, as he was 7-3 with a 2,79 ERA in 14 starts at night last season.

Sabathia's struggles have been so consistent over the last few seasons, it's very difficult to see a reason to expect anything other than more of the same in Baltimore tonight.

Tale BAL.
