This is a Free #MLB play on the Seattle #Mariners.

The Mariners have been swinging the bat well recently, coming off a 2-1 series win over the Blue Jays over the weekend. They look to keep the pedal to the metal here against the Diamondbacks, and I like Seattle in Game 2 of this series with favorable matchup on the mound.

Hisashi Iwakuma will toe the slab for Seattle, and he's coming off three straight wins. Iwakuma (2-1, 4.50 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on six hits over seven innings in a win at Detroit his last time out. He tossed eight scoreless innings in a 5-0 shutout of the Angels in his last home start.

The Diamondbacks hand the ball to rookie right-hander Zack Godley, who makes just his second career start. The 25 year old was impressive in his debut, tossing six scoreless innings in a home win over the Brewers. He might find things a little tougher on the road against a hot Mariners lineup.

Robinson Cano is swinging a red hot bat, hitting .337 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs in the month of July.
