Game of the Year *MLB* - Schule's 10* Underdog *BLOCKBUSTER*
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. Minnesota, 07/28/2015 4:10 PM, Score: 8 - 7
Money Line: 107.00 Minnesota (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins aren't getting a lot of love from bookmakers despite owning the 5th best record in the American League. Only two teams have a better home record than Minnesota, and the Twins will play their next six games at Target Field. The Colorado Rockies are the only team in the major leagues with a higher home batting average, and the Twins rank fourth in runs scored at home. Despite all this they will be an underdog here in Game 1 of this home series versus the Pirates.

Charlie Morton will toe the slab for Pittsburgh, and he's coming off back to back losses. Morton (6-4, 4.59 ERA) allowed five runs on seven hits over 6 2/3 innings in a loss at Kansas City his last time out. He's 2-3 with a 7.82 ERA on the road this year, and he's surrendered 18 runs on 20 hits over 13 1/3 innings in his last three starts away from Pittsburgh.

The Twins hand the ball to Mike Pelfrey, who has had some tough luck lately. Pelfrey (5-7, 3.94 ERA) allowed four runs (two unearned) on nine hits over six innings in a loss at Anaheim his last time out. He's 3-2 with a 2.22 ERA in eight starts at home so far. The right-hander has faced the Pirates just once over the last three seasons, allowing one run on five hits over six innings in a no decision.

The Twins have won 11 of their last 15 meetings with Pittsburgh.

Take MIN.
