We will get our second look at Jamies Winston here tonight, and his first pre-season game was far from perfect. He completed just 9-of-19 passes for 131 yards with an INT and no TDs. He was also sacked twice for a loss of 15 yards, and came close to fumbling the ball on a few occasions. This really shouldn't come as a surprise, he threw 18 interceptions in 14 games last year for Florida State, and NFL defenders (even second and third stringers), are better athletes than he was facing in college.
He should get plenty of playing time tonight, and I don't think that will be a good thing for the Bucs. Don't be surprised to see Winston turn the ball over in the first half, and he could put his team in a hole early.
The Bengals may let Andy Dalton play for a quarter or more, and he could put points on the board against this Bucs defense that ranked 28th in the NFL in 2014. He didn't waste any time in last week's win over the Giants, hitting Mohammd Sanu for a TD on the opening drive.
