Money Line: -141.00 Seattle (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -141.00 Seattle (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the Seattle Mariners.
The Angels upset the Mariners last night, but I think Seattle will bounce back at home in tonight's rubber match.
Hisashi Iwakuma will toe the slab for Seattle, and he's owned the Angels in his career. Iwakuma (7-4, 4.05 ERA) allowed three runs on eight hits, fanning six in 6 1/3 innings in a loss to Colorado his last time out. He's 7-3 with a 3.22 ERA in his last 12 starts, and he's 7-2 with a 2.83 ERA lifetime versus the Angels.
The Angels hand the ball to Jered Weaver, who has not been sharp in recent outings. Weaver (7-10, 4.71 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on five hits over six innings in a 3-2 home win over the Astros his last time out. He's been hammered on the road, going 3-8 with a 6.24 ERA in 12 starts.
Los Angeles is batting a major league worst .231 since the All Star break, and only Atlanta has scored fewer runs during that span.
Take SEA.
