Game of the Year (MLB) ~ Schule's STL@PIT *BLOCKBUSTER*
(MLB) St. Louis vs. Pittsburgh, 09/29/2015 3:05 PM, Score: 0 - 0
Money Line: -105.00 St. Louis (Away)
Result: Push
This is a 10* play on the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Pirates came into this series with all the momentum, and a real chance to catch the Cardinals at the top of the NL Central. Last night's loss will likely take the wind out of their sails though, especially after leaving the bases loaded four times and coming away without a single run.

Michael Wacha will toe the slab for St. Louis in Game 2, and he's owned the Pirates this year. Wacha (17-6, 3.15 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits over five innings in a win over the Brewers his last time out. He's 2-0 with with a 1.93 ERA in three starts versus Pittsburgh, and he's 10-3 with a 3.12 ERA in 16 starts on the road this season.

The Pirates hand the ball to Charlie Morton, who is 3-6 with a 4.80 ERA in his last 13 starts. The right-hander hasn't fooled the Cardinals, as St. Louis is batting a combined .318 in 151 at bats against him. He's surrendered a dozen runs on 19 hits over just 8 1/3 innings in his last two starts.

Morton is 0-8 with a 4.76 ERA in his last 11 starts versus the Cardinals.

Take STL.
