Schule's MLB Cubs vs. Pirates NL Wild Card *BLOCKBUSTER*
(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. Pittsburgh, 10/07/2015 4:08 PM, Score: 4 - 0
Money Line: -130.00 Chi Cubs (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 10* play on the Chicago Cubs.

The Pittsburgh Pirates won just three of their last seven games but that was still enough to keep the Chicago Cubs behind them and secure home-field advantage for the National League Wild Card game. The Cubs finished the regular-season with eight straight wins though, coming into tonight's game with all the momentum.

Jake Arrieta (22-6, 1.77 ERA) will toe the slab for the Cubs and he's had an outstanding season. He's been particularly zoned in in recent games surrendering only six hits and one walk over his last three starts spanning 22 innings. He faced the Pirates twice last month, holding them to two runs, one earned, on seven hits over 15 innings of work, and he's 3-1 with a 0.75 ERA over five meetings for the season.

The Pirates hand the ball to Gerrit Cole who has won four straight decisions. He gave up four runs, three earned, on six hits in 6 1/3 innings his last home-start against the Cubs on Sept. 15. The Cubs lineup has hit .286 over a combined 126 at bats in all previous meetings.

The Cubs have won nine straight on the road and took six of 10 in Pittsburgh during the regular season. They've won four straight at PNC Park with Arrieta on the mound.

Take CHC.
