Game 2 NLDS - Schule's Cubs vs. Cardinals *BLOCKBUSTER*
(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. St. Louis, 10/10/2015 1:37 PM, Score: 6 - 3
Money Line: -130.00 St. Louis (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the St. Louis Cardinals.

The St. Louis Cardinals came into the playoffs stumbling winning just three of their last nine games. They had the division-title locked up early though and could afford to rest players, and they showed why they finished with the best regular-season record in baseball when they defeated the Chicago Cubs 4-0 last night.

Kyle Hendricks (8-7, 3.95 ERA) will toe the slab for the Cubs for tonight's match-up. He finished the regular-season strong with back-to-back shutout performances with only three hits allowed over 12 innings of work.He posted a 4.47 ERA over 17 road starts over the season though and conceded four runs on six hits over five innings against the Cardinals back in May.

The Cardinals hand the ball to Jaime Garcia (10-6, 2.43 ERA) who held opponents to a total of four runs on 18 hits over 19 innings in his last three starts combined. He was a solid 5-2 with minuscule 1.70 ERA over 10 home starts over the season and will make his first start of the year against the Cubs.

St. Louis has won 10 of Garcia's last 12 starts overall and 25 of the last 35 meetings with the Cubs home at Busch. The Cubs mustered only three hits in last night's defeat and I would not be surprised if they were held to a similar count tonight.

Take STL.
