The Isles are just a slight favorite at home to Florida tonight, and I like New York at what looks like a reasonable price. They sit just three points out of first place in the Eastern Conference standings, behind Washington and Montreal. The Isles are 11-4-2 at home, and they are 7-0-1 in their last eight overall. The Panthers have lost three of their last four, and two of those three losses came on the road. Futility on the road is nothing new for the Panthers, who are 49-113-3 in their last 165 road games versus a team with a winning record. The Isles have won five straight at home, and they have been excellent on special teams this year. Jaroslav Halak will get the start for New York tonight, and he's 6-2 with a 2.03 GAA at home so far.
