Schule's 10* NFL AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - JETS@BILLS
(NFL) NY Jets vs. Buffalo, 01/03/2016 8:00 AM, Score: 17 - 22
Point Spread: -2.50 | -119.00 NY Jets (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the New York Jets.

The Jets control their own destiny. All they need to do is win their final game of the season at Buffalo, and they are in the playoffs. As easy as it sounds, I am sure the Bills are going to do their best to play spoiler. When the dust settles though, my money is on the Jets to punch their ticket to the post-season.

Buffalo will be without leading rusher LeSean McCoy, and quarterback Tyrod Taylor is going to play despite a sore shoulder. I wouldn't expect the Bills quarterback (or other players) to put the body on the line taking a big hit to pick up that extra yard here in the season finale. Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been playing like an MVP lately, throwing for 296 yards and three TDs in last week's win over New England, and he's thrown 13 touchdown passes and just one interception during the Jets five game winning streak.

The weather could be a factor in this game, with high winds and snow expected before kickoff. That might limit both teams in the passing game, and that should only favor New York. The Jets lead the NFL in run defense, allowing just 81.5 yards per game. They've only given up two rushing TDs all year.

Take NYJ.

Jesse Schule
