The Coach's NHL Tuesday Night - *SPECIAL OFFER*
(NHL) Chicago vs. New Jersey, 12/09/2014 2:00 PM, Score: 3 - 2
Money Line: -170.00 Chicago (Away)
Result: Win
The Devils are coming straight from a 2-1 win at Carolina last night, making a brief stop in New Jersey only to go on a three game road trip again on Thursday. The Chicago Blackhawks are coming to town tonight, looking for a seventh consecutive win, and I doubt a lowly Devils team got what it taeks to snap their winning streak.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Blackhawks Defense - Questions were asked if the Blackhawks would be able to hold down their top spot regarding goals allowed with the injury of their No. 1 netminder Corey Crawford. Antti Raanta and Scott Darling have not disappointed though, sharing responsibility in goal allowing only five goals over three games since Crawford's injury. Scott Darling saved 32 of 33 shots at Nashville Saturday and is likely to tend the net tonight as well. To answer the question: The Blackhawks D are still the best in the league and they're the only team allowing less than two goals per game on average.

2. Road Warriors - The Blackhawks have won six of their last seven on the road, outscoring their opponents 26-13. The Devils have won only one of their last five at Prudential Center.

3. X-Factor - Patrick Sharp is expected to make a comeback tonight after missing Saturday's 3-1 win against Nashville with a leg injury. Bad news for the Devils, Sharp scored five of the Blackhawks 10 goals over a two game sweep of the home team last season.

Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Blackhawks (8*)
