The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) San Francisco vs. Miami, 06/30/2015 3:10 PM, Score: 3 - 5
Money Line: -101.00 San Francisco (Away)
Result: Loss
The Miami Marlins have lost nine of their last 11, and they host a surging San Francisco team that comes in as winners of seven of it's last 10. The Fish are 11.5 games back of Washington in the NL East, and with Giancarlo Stanton now sidelined four 4-6 weeks, hopes of salvaging the season are diminished.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Ryan Vogelsong will get the start for the Giants, and he's registered consecutive clean sheets. Vogelsong (6-5, 4.05 ERA) has allowed eight hits and no runs over 12.2 innings in wins over San Diego and Seattle. He gave up just one run on four hits over seven innings in a win over Miami earlier this season, and he's 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA in three starts versus Miami since 2012. The Marlins will counter with Mat Latos, who is 1-3 with a 7.60 ERA in seven starts at home this season.

2. Giants Bats - San Francisco is tied for first among national league teams with 184 runs scored on the road this season. They've scored at least six runs in five straight games.

3. X-Factor - The Giants are 9-2 in their last 11 road games vs. a right-handed starter.

Selection: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants (10*)
