The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Seattle vs. Houston, 08/31/2015 4:10 PM, Score: 3 - 8
Point Spread: 1.50 | -105.00 Seattle (Away)
Result: Loss
The Seattle Mariners have had a disappointing season but they've picked themselves up of late winning four of their last six games. I think they're coming in underrated here against division-rivals the Houston Astros who are returning home from a six-game road trip split.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Astros hand the ball to left-hander Dallas Keuchel (15-6, 2.28) who's had a terrific season. One of the few teams to hit him hard is the Mariners though against who'm he surrendered five runs on five hits and four walks in six innings of a 6-3 loss on June 20. Nelson Cruz is 6-for-12 with a pair of homers against Keuchel and Mark Truombo 5-for-10 with a double, two triples and two homers for six RBIs. The Mariners will counter with a southpaw of their own in Vidal Nuno (0-2, 2.88 ERA) who'll make his first career start against the Astros but has a 1.50 ERA in five career relief appearances.

2. Batters vs. Lefties - Seattle has a decent enough .261 team batting average left-handers this season while Houston is batting just .240 against southpaws.

3. X-Factor - Kyle Seager has been swinging a hot bat of late and is 8-for-15 with three homers and six RBIs in his last three games.

Selection: This is a play on the Seattle Mariners +1.5 (10*)
