Minnesota (10*)
(NFL) Minnesota vs. San Francisco, 09/14/2015 6:20 PM, Score: 3 - 20
Point Spread: -1.00 | -122.00 Minnesota (Away)
Result: Loss
The San Francisco 49ers are a team on the decline, and that's putting things mildly. Most experts agree that this team has had the worst off-season in the history of the NFL. That comes after going just 8-8 last season and missing the playoffs. They host the Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 1, and I like this Minnesota team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Teddy Time - Teddy Bridgewater impressed in his rookie season, completing 64% of his passes for 2.919 yards and 14 TDs in 12 starts. He has the confidence of star running back Adrian Peterson, who said: '"There's not too many guys that come into the league that have that talent, especially at the quarterback position," he added. "He's just so poised. He has a great arm. He's mature. And he's a competitor."

2. Pass Protection - San Francisco quarterbacks were sacked 52 times in 2014, only Jacksonville and Washington allowed more.

3. X-Factor - San Francisco has failed to cover the spread in five straight home games, and they've lost their last three meetings versus Minnesota.
