The Alabama Crimson Tide will take on Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl, and they'll be looking to put last year's loss to Ohio State behind them. This Spartans team isn't nearly as explosive on offense, and I think the Tide will completely shut down their running game. I'm expecting this one to be a blowout.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Derrick Henry - He won the Heisman Trophy for a reason. Henry ran for 1,986 yards and 23 TDs in 13 games this season, finding the endzone at least once in all 13 of those games.
2. Previous History - The Crimson Tide have covered the spread in five of their last six versus BIG10 teams, and they are 6-1 ATS in their last seven versus teams with a winning record. Their last five victories all came by more than 10 points.
3. X-Factor - Alabama's defense ranks 3rd nationally, holding opponents to fewer than 15 points per game. They led the country in quarterback sacks with 46 on the season.
