The Edmonton Oilers will be looking to end a four-game slide when they host the Arizona Coyotes Saturday night. The Yotes have dominated this series in recent seasons' but this looks like a fair price on the Oilers to end that dominance.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Oilers have lost their last two home at Rexall Place, but they had won five straight in front of the home-town crowd prior. The Coyotes have lost six of their last seven on the road.
2. Cam Talbot - The Edmonton netminder held the Ducks to one goal on 35 shots in Thursday's 1-0 loss to Anaheim and he's posted a 2.02 GAA in his last four starts. This will be his third career start against the Yotes, and he'll be seeking to make it a perfect 3-for-3 victories.
3. X-Factor - Connor McDavid skated in Friday's practice, and while he's unlikely to play tonight the sheer sight of the rookie superstar in action again will give the Oilers a well needed morale boost.
