8* play on Washington Nationals.

The Washington Nationals have now lost back-to-back games to the lowly Phillies, after they opened the season with 14 wins in 18 games. Game 3 of this series goes in Washington Thursday, and I expect the Nats to take Philly behind the woodshed.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Nationals will send Tanner Roark to the mound, coming off what might be the best start of his career. Roark blanked the Twins through seven scoreless innings, with a whopping 15 strikeouts. He's been great at home, going 12-7 with a 2.84 ERA at Nationals Park over the last three seasons.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - The Phillies send 22 year old right-hander Aaron Nola to the hill, and he's been clobbered by Washington in past meetings. The Nats lineup is hitting .364 with four home runs over a combined 44 at bats. Bryce Harper is 5-for-7 with a pair of home runs lifetime versus the righty.

3. X-Factor - The Phillies are batting just .232 this season, ranking dead last in the major leagues in runs scored.

Selection: This is a play on the Washington Nationals (8*)
