10* MASSACRE on St. Louis Blues.

The St. Louis Blues buckled down after after a pair of loss against the Blackhawks and managed to win the deciding Game 7 of their Conference Quarterfinals series on Monday. They'll now take on another Central Division rival in the semifinals, and I think the Blues are looking good to record an upset in the series-opener against the Dallas Stars Friday night.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Road Warriors - The Blues took two of three at Chicago and have won seven of their past eight on the road with the regular-season included. They are 4-1 in the last five meetings in Dallas.

2. Vladimir Tarasenko - The Blues' right-winger led the Blues for both goals points during the regular-season and has four goals and a pair of assists so far in the playoffs. He has torched Dallas for eight tallies and five assists in 14 career meetings. Dallas meanwhile is likely to be out with one of its top-scorers with Tyler Seguin expected to sit out a fifth straight game.

3. X-Factor - The Blues ended a string of three consecutive exits in the first round of the postseason with their round 1 win against Chicago, and the confidence is now high in the Blues camp. "Just think what this team is capable of," Blues defenseman Alex Pietrangelo said. "Whether it was Chicago or anybody else, I think we showed a lot of resilience out there in that series."

Selection: This is a play on the St. Louis Blues (10*)
