The Orioles are coming off back-to-back home losses to the White Sox, but they may be able to get back on track against a Yankees team that has lost five straight. The Orioles are just a slight favorite in Game 1, and my money is on Baltimore with a favorable match-up on the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Chris Tillman will get the nod for Baltimore, and he's 2-1 with a 3.24 ERA so far. His last start was his most impressive, going 6.2 innings, surrendering just two hits and striking out nine at Tampa Bay. He's 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA in three starts at Camden Yards in 2016.

2. Manny Machado - The Orioles thirdbaseman is swinging a red hot bat, hitting .350 with seven home runs and 16 RBIs. He's been crushing the ball at home, batting .460 at Camden Yards.

3. X-Factor - The Orioles have won 19 of their last 26 home games, and five of their last six when Tillman starts.
