Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach Tuesday NBA Free Pick San Antonio Spurs (+) @ Golden State Warriors @ 9 ET - I am recommending a play on the Spurs on the money line at a HUGE underdog price. Yes, I know that may seem crazy but listen up guys...the fact is that crazy stuff happens in the NBA all the time. Even if you thought San Antonio had a good shot at the upset against the Rockets in Houston in Game 6 did you really think they would win that game by 39 points without Kawhi Leonard? I highly doubt anyone can say that they did unless they are truly a Nostradamus. Here is the real kicker though, the Spurs are 8-1 this season without Kawhi Leonard. Not only that, they held their opponents well under 100 points on average and only twice in those nine games did the Spurs allow their team to even reach the century mark. The Spurs are ticked off at Zaza Pachulia and Coach Popovich is a helluva coach. If the Warriors struggle to hit shots and LaMarcus Aldridge plays a cleaner game inside the paint (showed capability for sure but too many turnovers), the Spurs can grind out a road win here. Keep in mind, Danny Green did a great job defensively on Klay Thompson and if Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant had not BOTH gone off after the Leonard injury, the Warriors would not have won that game. I know this is a risk on the Spurs on the money line but the payback here is so huge and we've seen the Spurs pull big upsets like this in the past without Leonard. SA will go "all out" here with a huge effort as this series is off until Saturday after this one. Do the Warriors "let their guard down" after the big comeback win and knowing Leonard is hurt and of course Parker was already out? This could truly be a monumental shocker and I am "going for it" with the big underdog money line price on the Spurs here as my Free Pick for Tuesday night's NBA!
