Contrarian Crusher - Scott "The Bulldog" Rickenbach CFB Rotation #295 Tuesday 8* Oklahoma State Cowboys (-) vs Miami Hurricanes @ 5:30 ET - The Cowboys Chuba Hubbard is missing this game. Hardly worth mentioning as he is very over-rated. Note that other Oklahoma State running backs Dezmon Jackson and LD Brown both gained a full yard more per carry than Hubbard did this season. Also, in the season finale against a Baylor team with a bad offense but respectable defense, Dominic Richardson gained 169 yards on the ground and ran for 3 touchdowns. The Cowboys are loaded at running back and, as for the passing game, Oklahoma State averaged 238 passing yards per road game this season while allowing only 177 yards per game on the road this season. They will dominate this game both on the ground and through the air and Miami's bowl struggles continue. The Hurricanes are getting a lot of attention here (Cowboys WERE a full field goal favorite in this game) but Miami is destined to lose a 4th straight bowl game as Manny Diaz is coaching just his 2nd bowl game. The Cowboys know a thing or two about bowls as this is their 15th straight bowl trip. Coach Mike Gundy is a fiery head coach who does not like to lose. Look for the Cowboys to improve to 10-5 ATS in his last 15 bowls as they get the win and cover here. Last year they covered but lost the game SU to Texas A & M by 3 points. OSU wants to get back to their winning ways in bowls and QB Spencer Sanders will have a field day against a Hurricanes defense that allowed an average of 39 points per game in their 1st 3 road games this season before facing two teams that finished the season with a combined 7-15 record. So how did Miami do in their final home game by the way? They allowed 62 points to North Carolina. More of the same here and the better defense which faced some tough Big 12 offenses, leads the way here as the Cowboys dominate this one and win this one easily. 8* OKLAHOMA STATE
