NHL Earliest Cash Sunday 8* OVER 5.5 in St Louis Blues vs Dallas Stars @ 2:05 ET - The Stars rallied for 2 goals in the final 5 minutes to beat Pittsburgh 3-2 yesterday. Dallas will build momentum off of that comeback victory but I don't see them slowing down a red hot St Louis team that beat them 4-1 in each of the two meetings in mid-December. The Blues will give up some goals here though in my opinion and that is why I am projecting an over in this game. Dallas had gone over the total in 3 straight games (average of 9 goals in regulation) before that tight 3-2 win over the Penguins yesterday. As for the Blues, they also have seen high-scoring trending. St Louis has won 8 of 11 games and has scored an average of 4 goals in those 11 games. Not sure who will be between the pipes for the Blues here but normal #1 starter Jordan Binnington has allowed nearly 4 goals per game in his last 4 starts. 8* OVER 5.5 in St Louis
