The Panthers are getting way too much love here. Sure the Bills don't plan on playing most of their starters, but what else is new? Buffalo and head coach Sean McDermott are still on a 10-game winning streak in preseason games.
The huge line is due to Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold is expected to play. But how much will they play, and how much will it matter? And how much better are Mayfield and Darnold over Case Keenum and Matt Barkley, to justify this line? I don't think it will be enough for Carolina, as I also like the Bills back end of the roster in the second half of this game. I think Buffalo has a shot to win this outright, so I love them at +6.5
