Boise State will be down to their third-string QB in this game, likely a true freshman. While the Broncos may be handicapped at QB, the job new head coach Spencer Danielson has done since taking over as HC from the DC role has been impressive, going 3-0 both straight up and ATS.
UCLA will be starting Ethan Garbers, who has thrown 9 tds against 3 ints, but has yet to look overly impressive, and his best work has been against terrible defenses.
UCLA is 1-4 ATS in last five games. The Bruins are also not without their own transfer portal issues, and Chip Kelly has stated that players in the portal will not be able to play.
I'm not sure how motivated UCLA is to even be in this game. And let's not forget, UCLA has been held to 10 points or less in three of their last four games.
