Arizona State is heavily committed to the run game, ranking 9th in the nation and running the ball over 70% of the time through their first two games. While Texas State plays at a faster pace, they still run the ball on 60% of their plays, ranking 27th in the nation.

Though the teams haven't faced the toughest schedules, Arizona State’s defense has been impressive, allowing just 1.1 yards per carry, ranking 1st nationally. They also secured a win over SEC member Mississippi State. Texas State has also shown strength against the run, ranking 30th and allowing just 2.7 yards per carry.

Historically, the under has hit consistently in these spots—it's 7-0 in the Sun Devils' last seven Thursday games and 6-0 in the Bobcats' last six Thursday games.

Despite more than 90% of the money reportedly coming in on the over, I expect the game to stay under 59 points based on the strengths of these teams and their running-focused approaches.
