FRIDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE
(MLB) Baltimore vs. Toronto, 07/20/2018 3:07 PM, Score: 7 - 8
Money Line: -142.00 Toronto (Home)
Result: Win
The Baltimore Orioles entered the All Star break with a MLB-worst 28-69 record. They've since traded star shortstop Manny Machado to the Dodgers. "Obviously, it's a bittersweet day for our organization," Dan Duquette, the Orioles' executive vice president of baseball operations, told reporters Wednesday. "We watched Manny grow up in our franchise the past eight years. We all know what an exceptional talent he is, from the great plays that he made to his elite hitting."

I think it's safe to say that this tanking Orioles team will have a tough second half of the season as well.

Baltimore right-hander Dylan Bundy (6-9, 4.35 ERA) is 0-2 with a 12.27 ERA in two starts for the month and he was knocked around for five runs on five hits and four walks in four innings against the Yankees his last time out.

Toronto Toronto right-hander Sam Gaviglio (2-3, 4.58 ERA) held Boston to one run through 1 1/3 frames his last outing, working on just two days rest. He's been rock solid home at Rogers Centre, compiling a 1.97 ERA through 32 innings of work.

The Blue Jays swept the Orioles in a four-game series here at Rogers Centre back in June, and I fully expect them to open this series with a win.

8* play on Toronto Blue Jays.
