The Colorado Rockies had won four straight prior to taking a 12-1 beating at Houston Wednesday night. I think they're in for another loss here when visiting the red hot Atlanta Braves for the opener of a four-game series.

Atlanta has won five on the bounce and hands the ball to Julio Teheran (8-7, 4.33 ERA) who is 5-1 with a 2.21 ERA in nine career starts against the Rockies and he was 1-0 with a 1.26 ERA in two starts against Colorado last year. Teheran is coming off a solid six-inning start against Milwaukee on Saturday, when he allowed one run on two hits.

The Rockies turn to Jon Gray (9-7, 4.81 ERA) who is 3-0 with a 1.04 ERA in four career starts against the Braves, but note that he gave up four runs on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Dodgers his last time out.
