The Detroit Tigers booked a 7-2 victory on Thursday to improve to 10-3 against the Chicago White Sox on the season.
I predict their success against CWS to continue here Friday night behind right-hander Michael Fulmer (3-9, 4.50 ERA) who held the White Sox scoreless through 5 1/3 innings at U.S. Cellular Field back in Apri.
Fuller owns a 3.96 ERA in 10 home starts on the season and I think he'll come through with a strong outing despite being limited to around 70 pitches in his first outing since injuring his oblique July 14.
The White Sox turn to Reynaldo Lopez (4-9, 4.72 ERA) who much like Fuller is better at home. The 24 year old righty is 2-6 with a 5.11 ERA in 13 road starts on the season and has seen plenty of Detroit this year, giving up 10 runs (nine earned) through 25 innings of work. White Sox are 0-4 in Lopez's last 4 starts vs. Tigers.
