The Chicago Cubs have won eight of their last nine games, but I think they're about to run into trouble here at Philadelphia Friday night.

Philly right-hander Nick Pivetta (7-10, 4.76 ERA) are coming off a couple of disappointing outings after allowing just three runs through his first three starts of the month. He should be fired up to close out the month with a solid start and has a terrific 162/38 K/BB ratio through 136 innings of work this year.

Cubs left-hander Jose Quintana (11-9, 4.33 ERA) has gone only five innings in each of his last three starts. He has walked five in his last two starts and struggled with his command all season long, entering this game with a 116/60 K/BB ratio.

We can also note that this is an awkward spot for the Cubs who played home in Chicago on Wednesday, traveled to Atlanta for a makeup game on Thursday and now they're in Philly on Friday. The value is on the home team in this matchup.
