The Toronto Blue Jays scored seven runs in the first inning as they rolled to a 10-3 triumph over the Tampa Bay Rays Wednesday night. They've still dropped 10 of their last 13 games, and I think they're in for a much tougher matchup here as they host the Cleveland Indians for the opener of a four-game series.

Cleveland hands the ball to Shane Bieber (8-3, 4.66 ERA) who will face the Blue Jays for the first time in his career. He's 4-0 with a 4.44 ERA in eight road starts this season (Cleveland 6-2 team record in those games).

Toronto turns to Sam Gaviglio (3-7, 5.02 ERA) who will face Cleveland for the first time in his career. Gaviglio has pitched very well home at Rogers Centre, entering this game with a 2.68 ERA in 11 appearances (nine starts) on the season, but I expect him to run into serious trouble with this Cleveland lineup. We can also note that Blue Jays are 1-6 in Gaviglio's last seven starts overall and he has been charged with 11 runs in his last three starts combined.
