I think we'll see plenty of runs here at Oakland Friday night. The Rangers have averaged 6.7 runs through their last six games and here they'll face Oakland starter Chris Bassitt (2-3, 3.19 ERA) who will make just his eighth start of the season. Bassitt held Minnesota to one run through 4 2/3 frames his last time out on Aug 26, but this could be a tougher spot for him.

Texas turns to Yovani Gallardo (8-3, 5.97 ERA) who has allowed three runs or more in four of his last six starts, never making it more than six innings. He has posted a 7.24 ERA in seven appearances (five starts) on the road this season and over is 9-3-2 in Gallardo's last 14 starts overall.

The A's defeated the Yankees 8-2 on Wednesday and have averaged 6.2 rpg through their last six games.
