The Cincinnati Reds host the Kansas City Royals at Great American Ballpark Tuesday night.

This is the first game of the series with both teams getting Monday off. The Reds swept a two-game series in Kansas City earlier in the season, winning 5-1 in 10 innings on June 10 and 7-0 on June 11.

The Reds closed out last week with three losses at Miami, but they play much better in front of the home town crowd and boast a 36-16 record in their last 52 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

Reds right-hander Matt Harvey (7-9, 4.92 ERA) owns a 5-1 record at GBP this season and should not have much to fear from a KC team which averages 3.73 rpg on the road.
