The Illinois Fighting Illini are coming off a 38-17 triumph at Rutgers, and I think they're spotted way too many points to pass up on as they host the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday afternoon.
Purdue is coming off its bye week, but perhaps it could have come at a better time instead of following back-to-back wins. The momentum is now gone, and here the Boilermakers will face a feisty D which forced three turnovers against Rutgers last week and has recorded 12 takeaways on the season.
I expect Illinois defense to keep this close.
