The Colorado Avalanche have outscored opponents 20-4 during a four-game winning streak. They're expected to have Semyon Varlamov back between the pipes here after giving the 30 year old Russian the night off in Saturday's 5-0 win at Nashville, and I don't think the Avs will have any trouble to take care of business here against the Florida Panthers Monday night.

Sure, the Panthers have won four of their last five, but all of those games were at home and they're just 2-6 in their last eight road games. We can also note that Colorado has all the momentum in the series, having won three straight meetings after earning a 5-2 victory at Florida on Dec. 6.
