I think the bookmakers got this total completely wrong.
The Royals are averaging only 3.7 runs per game home at Kauffman Stadium and while Tampa Bay righty Luis Patano has an ugly 6.75 ERA, note that it's over only two starts and a total of four innings and he's backed up by one of the best bullpens in baseball.
KC hands the ball to Brady Singer who has posted a 3.08 ERA over his last three starts.
