This looks like like a huge pitching mismatch in favor of the Yankees with Gerrit Cole (6-0, 2.93 ERA) going up against Michael Grove (0-1, 8.44 ERA), but their numbers are somewhat misleading.
Cole's numbers look very impressive, but he has allowed 11 runs and four home runs over 11 innings in his last two starts.
Grove has made only four starts and his ERA is bloated by one atrocious outing at Arizona. Grove's last start was on April 20 as he's been on the IL.
At this price, I'll gladly back the Dodgers as they have the talent to bail out any pitcher shortcomings.
