The Detroit Tigers snapped a five-game losing streak when they held the Texas Rangers to three hits in a 2-0 victory on Saturday. I'm banking on the Tigers to claim the rubber match of this three-game set on Sunday behind Michael Fulmer.

Fulmer (9-3, 2.43 ERA) took the loss his last time out despite allowing just two runs in seven innings at Seattle. The 23 year old rookie is coming of three consecutive quality starts, and he's been phenomenal all year long, holding opponents to three earned runs or fewer in 15 of his 18 starts in the big leagues.

The Rangers turn to A.J. Griffin (5-1, 4.38) who is 2-0 over his last five starts despite a 5.54 ERA in those games. He was knocked around for three runs on four hits and three walks in just 2 2/3 innings at Detroit on May 7, and he's posted an 8.76 ERA in three career starts against the Tigers.

Tigers are 9-2 in Fulmer's last 11 road starts and 14-2 in his last 16 starts. This looks like an excellent price on Detroit.
