Money Line: -150.00 St. Louis (Away)
The Brew Crew were on the right side of a 3-0 shutout Wednesday. I had them Monday when they rallied from a four-run deficit to take the first game in that Pittsburgh series. The Brewers are 3-3 so far with all six games on the road. No doubt they’ll be fired up to be back home, but a home opener in 2020 doesn’t mean what it used to. There have also been offensive issues this season for Milwaukee as they’ve been held to three runs or less in half their games.
Jack Flaherty looked sharp for St. Louis in the season opener, starting with six scoreless innings. He had six strikeouts and didn’t walk anybody. In the seventh, he did allow a pair of runs, but the Cards still won the game 5-4. Brett Anderson is making his first start for Milwaukee and is dealing with an ongoing blister issue. Those can be tricky. St. Louis has the better bullpen and you can look for the bottom of their order to produce more than they did in Minnesota. 8* St. Louis
