8* Washington (10:05 ET): Golden State is coming off a 122-121 win over Milwaukee. They got 41 from Steph Curry and needed all of them as they overcame a 10-point fourth quarter deficit. Milwaukee was without Giannis Antetokounmpo as well. It was just the second win for the Warriors in the last nine games as they are still three games below .500 and in 10th place in the Western Conference. So they’d barely make the “play-in round.” Tonight marks only the 19th time Golden State has been favored all season.

Washington isn’t having a very good season. They are third from the bottom in the Eastern Conference standings and won’t be making the playoffs despite having Russell Westbrook and the NBA’s leading scorer Bradley Beal (31.2 PPG) among their ranks. But they did win 131-116 on Wednesday over Orlando, a result worth mentioning as the Wizards are 5-1 ATS this season when coming off a double digit victory. The team made a season-high 19 three-pointers and shot 57.6% overall in Orlando.

Beal had not played in any of the five games previous to the win over Orlando. So the fact the Wiz were on a four-game losing streak is a little misleading. Beal went for 26 against the Magic and should be highly motivated here to go against Curry. The Wizards also have Rui Hachimura back in the lineup, so they’re pretty healthy. Though I said earlier that the Wiz won’t be making the playoffs, they are only 3.5 games out, so they’re not ready to throw in the towel yet. Take the points. 8* Washington
