I'm playing on MINNESOTA. The Twins won big yesterday and I expect more of the same this afternoon. The Twins are a dominant 30-7 the past 37 times that they were listed as home favorites in the -175 to -250 range. Shoemaker was excellent in his first start, as he allowed just one run through six complete innings. Shoemaker has faced the Mariners a lot over his career and his teams are 4-1 the last five times he started against them. To his credit, Flexen also pitched well in his first start. However, those five innings came at home, against the Giants. He was on a pitch count and it was his first win in the majors since 2017. He didn't pitch in the bigs last season, instead pitching in Korea. However, he was 0-3 with a 6.59 ERA in 2019 and 0-2 with a 12.79 ERA in 2018. I say the Twins bring him back down to earth. Note that the Seattle bullpen has struggled on the road. Twins roll.
