SUN. AFTERNOON VIOLATOR *OFF 6-2 SATURDAY
(NCAAB) Alcorn State vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 11/28/2021 2:00 PM, Score: 61 - 57
Point Spread: -12.00 | -110.00 Wisconsin-Milwaukee (Home)
Result: Loss
I'm playing on MILWAUKEE. The Panthers are going to be in a foul mood for this one. They played without star Patrick Baldwin Jr. last game and fell to Yale, their fourth straight loss. Coach Pat Baldwin (Sr) didn't talk to the media but he read his team the riot act. He expects more. With or without Baldwin Jr, I expect to see an entirely different team this afternoon. It'll start at the defensive end. Opposing teams connect on only 39.5% (38.8% here at Millwaukee) against the Panthers. That's the stingiest mark in the Horizon League. Alcorn State has played pretty well thus far. However, despite playing hard, the Braves are 0-5 SU. That's not their fault, as it's been a difficult schedule. All five games have been on the road. The first four were on the West Coast, too. They did have a break after those games but the Braves' most recent game figures to take a toll. They left it all on the floor but came up three points short, at SIU. That's three close losses in four games. (The other two were blowout losses.) Those eventually catch up with a team. While the Braves just played Friday, the Panthers have had a few days off. They're 79-59 ATS over the years, after scoring 60 or fewer points. After managing just 56 against Yale, schedule and venue in their favor, expect them to bounce back with a convincing win and cover.
