Sandy Alcantara (4-9, 4.46 ERA) has had a disappointing follow-up to his dominant 2022 National League Cy Young Award season, during which he went 14-9 with a 2.28 ERA. However, he is coming off the best month of his 2023 season, as he posted a 3.31 ERA in five July starts. In his most recent outing, he threw his first complete game of the season, in a 7-1 win over the Rays on Wednesday. Ranger Suarez has a 5.82 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in his last three outings and we think Miami gets to him today. Let's roll with the Marlins.
