Brandon Pfaadt has just been awful all year in all situations, and you wonder why Arizona keeps throwing him to the wolves and not sending him back down to the minors to re-work some mechanical issues. Seth Lugo has not had all that great of a year either, however he does have good stuff and has proven in years past that he has the capability of being a serviceable MLB starting pitcher, whereas Pfaadt has not even come close to that yet. Arizona is 1-9 in their last 10 games and just can't seem to figure it out, and we will roll with the Padres here.
