The New England Patriots are coming off the most lopsided loss in Bill Belichick's 29 seasons as a head coach. The New Orleans Saints are in the midst of one of the worst stretches of offense in the NFL. Both teams are seeking significant improvement when they meet Sunday afternoon in Foxboro, Mass. New England (1-3) lost 38-3 at Dallas last Sunday as quarterback Mac Jones turned the ball over three times, including a pick six and a scoop and score. It's always a good idea to look to bet on NFL teams coming off a blowout loss last week and we have a prime example of that here with New England as the Patriots were blasted last Sunday by a motivated Dallas Cowboys squad coming off an ugly defeat to Arizona the week prior. The Patriots have always responded under head coach Bill Belichick off blowout loss and also off games where they scored 9 points or fewer, covering the spread more than 70% of the time the next time out. New England sits just 1-3 overall to start the season and they need a win here in this one but keep in mind the Patriots have played arguably the hardest schedule in the league this year thus far as the three teams that have beat them are a combined 10-2 on the year.
