(NBA) New Orleans vs. Memphis,
Money Line: -108.00 Memphis (Home)
Result: Loss
On Wednesday night, two teams trying to contend in the Western Conference will open their season. The New Orleans Pelicans (42-40, 39-42-1 ATS last season) are on the road, whereas the Memphis Grizzlies (51-31; 37-43-2 ATS) are patiently waiting for their arrival. The Grizzlies were ranked 11th in the league in points allowed per game with 113.0. They were able to force 15.1 TO's every game and allowed teams to shoot 45.3% from the floor (1st in the league). The Memphis defense gave up 35.5% on shots from distance (1,065 of 2,998) and opponents knocked down 78.7% of their foul shots. They concede 26.4 assists and 44.4 boards per contest, which is ranked 27th and 21st in the league. Obvoiusly Memphis has no Ja Morant here, and to be honest they played quite well with no Ja last year and we think that happens here again Wednesday. Let's roll with Memphis on Wednesday.
