Tae #37 Winnipeg Jets over Detroit Red Wings
(NHL) Winnipeg vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -112.00 Winnipeg (Away)
Result: Win
Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin continued their torrid starts on Tuesday but the Detroit Red Wings failed to maintain their hot streak. Detroit had its five-game winning streak snapped with a 5-4 overtime loss to Seattle. The Red Wings will look to begin a new streak when they host Winnipeg on Thursday. DeBrincat scored his NHL-high ninth goal, while Larkin had a goal and two assists. Larkin has at least one point in every game this season. DeBrincat's goal was the last of three third-period power-play scores as the Red Wings erased a 3-1 deficit. The Kraken tied the game after Larkin committed a penalty late in regulation. Despite the Red Wings with all the great success so far, we like the Jets to do damage. Jets coach Rick Bowness has taken a leave of absence due to his wife's health issues. Judy Bowness suffered a seizure on Sunday. Scott Arniel is filling in for Bowness. Arniel said the team is determined to play well while Bowness focuses on his family. We think the Jets rally around their missing head coach and get the W on Thursday.
